Big Tree Fitness is Akron, Ohio’s premier small class and personal training gym. Members work toward goals of personal strength, increased speed, increased stamina, and improving overall health and wellbeing. Gym owner, Michael, had a dream to bring affordable personal training to the citizens of Greater Akron, and with Big Tree Fitness, this dream has been realized. Michael has helped countless Akronites achieve their personal fitness goals with his customized training plans tailored to each of his members' individual fitness needs and capabilities.

Gym members hard at work both inside and outside. Big Tree  Fitness has gone from our days in the garage to a new indoor facility. We will still take some of our work outside when the weather is conducive such as outside warmups, sled work, heavy carries, tire flipping and much more. Using the outside provides us with a different type of work atmosphere which the body and mind have to adapt to.

CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT

Sandbag, Keg, Sledgehammer, Tire, Battle Ropes, Kettle Bell, Bands, Slam Ball and Jump Box

Every tool in the conditioning kit is designed to tax your body and boost conditioning. We use each apparatus at shifting intensities and for varying time cycles. Trust me, the conditioning equipment may appear unusual but you won't argue with the results.

STRENGTH  EQUIPMENT

Free Weights, Dumb Bells, Sandbags, Sled, Kettle Bell, Squat and Bench Press Rack, Trap Bar, Land Mine (not what you think)

Plain and simple--building muscle and getting stronger.


Big Tree Fitness has been my vision for most of my life. It's been an incredible journey making it a reality.
