Learn about our workouts
At Big Tree Fitness, our workouts are designed to meet you where you are on your fitness and wellness journey. Want to lift heavy weights? We can do that. Maybe you need some accessory work? We have that covered, too. Or perhaps you are recovering from an injury or need to pay attention to a specific part of your body. Whatever your need or what you’re looking for in a gym, we have an approach that can work for you.
All of our programs are designed to make you stronger, help you build confidence and find ways to test your limits, and introduce you to a community of like-minded people that want to see you succeed - all in about an hour per session. Oh, and did we mention the one-week free trial for all new members?
It’s not uncommon to come into the gym and see everyone doing something slightly different each day. We set our members up for success with a variety of programming that ensures each person maximizes their potential and stays safe while doing it.

The “Getting Started”
3-times a week
Perhaps you’re new to a gym or have been gone so long that you need to figure out your baseline. Or maybe you're an expecting mother or you have other concerns about your physical performance. We have a program for that! The “getting started” board is designed to rebuild or maintain the foundation of your strength and conditioning. It’s design has movements and structure that help determine where you are in your fitness journey and where you have opportunity to grow - all while under the watchful eye of our coaches that ensure you are performing each movement safely and for maximum results. This program features kettle bells for beginning weight resistant training, training bands, plyo boxes and mobility tools. The “Get Started” workouts are built to help create a strong foundation before transitioning to the main workouts. We stay on this program for as long as needed to ensure your future workout goal successes.
The “Daily Workout”
3-times a week
Increasing your strength and conditioning performance through proper technique and increased work load capacity is the main focus of our daily workout boards. We have built the “daily” workout board with three unique workouts per week. These workouts our built around three main lifts. The back squat, bench press and dead lift. We also focus on the value of movements in multiple planes - extension, flexion and contraction of muscle groups and time under tension. While building a complete program that will do more than make you sweat… it will build confidence and ability to move better for whatever life throws at you. When you combine our main lifts strength training program and our anaerobic conditioning program you get a training program that works the whole body at every workout.
The “SIMPLE BUT NOT EASY” Program
3-times a week Daily Workout, Body Weight for all other days
Let’s face it - working out three times a week (or more) with a focus on lifting and weight work can take its toll. Making your body stronger means finding the right times to rest and the right times to change up your exercise methods. At Big Tree, we accomplish this through body weight workouts. With the Simple but not Easy program, you’ll spend two days in the Daily Workout described above and the other days of the week with bodyweight workouts. This mix helps keep your body and your mind interested and in a constant state of adapting to change, leading to increased outcomes in body composition, tone and aerobic capacity.
ALL BODY WEIGHT, ALL THE TIME
3-times a week or unlimited times a week
Pushing, pulling, hanging, jumping, running. Our bodies allow us to do some pretty remarkable things and when we focus on what our body does best, we can see amazing results. And like the Simple but not Easy program, it can be a great change-of-pace from weight-based training. Whether you want a change of pace or just want to put your own body to the test, you’ll find the perfect challenge and opportunity with body weight workouts.
