What's Your Road Map?

Yesterday I heard an amazing piece of advice while out running. When there is something you want to accomplish and you don't know how because you don't have a road map to guide you. There is only one thing you can do and that is be great in every moment that you are doing to work towards this goal. The road map will appear over time. Maybe not for you, but maybe for the next person to follow.

You have to remember that there may not be a road map and you may be the first to have to figure out how to reach the goal you are going after. This means you must do what you need to do to be great in every moment along the way. You must also be willing to accept that you will make mistakes along the way. These mistakes and what you learn from them help create the road map for others to follow and for you to teach.

Don't be afraid to be the first. Be afraid of not trying. Your road map will appear because you chose to figure it out and not give up.
