Getting Back Up

I hope you all have had a great week so far. I guess as long as we are seeing the green side up, then all is good.

"You Can't be defined by the time you fell; You have to be defined by the time you got up and finished"

How many times growing up did you hear "Get up and rub some dirt on it, you will be fine". I heard that phrase a lot from my parents and you know what, they were right. The pain would go away and you were back off testing your abilities all over again and completely forgetting what had just happened. In some cases you wore that fall like a badge of honor. That's what life is really all about. How many times are you going to be willing to fall and get back up and finish.. How many times are you going to be willing to fail forward in life. For all of you reading this email you have proven to yourself that you can fall and still get back up and finish, otherwise you wouldn't be coming here to practice creating the resilience needed to fail forward every day. You have all found out that you are worth the effort you put in. You have all proven to yourself that to find true success in life you must be willing to fall down and sometimes fall down really hard, but always willing to get back up, dust yourself off, attend to the wounds and then press on. But there are so many people out there that haven't found this missing piece in their lives. It is up to us to help show them what can be done. To be the example that they can look towards. To be the hand that reaches out to them and helps pull them up. To tell them good job, now lets keep going. All of us were there at one point and time in our lives, but there was someone or something there that opened the door to show each of us what was possible. But only if we were willing to fall, learn and get back up and finish. "You Can't be defined by the time you fell; You have to be defined by the time you got up and finished" This is what will define each of us, from here on out. Keep finishing!

As always your thoughts and comments are always welcome
